Sutra — Diagrams that look designed

Sutra is a free, local-first diagramming app for product teams: architecture diagrams, flowcharts, sequence/swimlane diagrams, ER data models, mind maps, user journeys and Gantt charts on a fully editable canvas. Bring your own AI key (Claude, OpenAI, Gemini) to generate diagrams from plain English — “users hit a load balancer, it routes to the API, the API reads from Postgres” — and keep refining them with an in-editor AI chat.

There is no sign-up and no server: diagrams are stored in your browser and never leave your machine, and AI prompts go straight from your browser to your own provider. Sutra requires JavaScript — please enable it to start diagramming.
